The challenges in ENG 100AR-1

Did I face any challenges as a student in this course ?

To answer this question first of all we need to understand what does a "challenge" means and what does consider a challenge...
A challenge means (something that needs great mental or physical effort to be done successfully and therefore tests a person's ability.)
Now we know what does a challenge means. Let's talk about the challenges that I faced in this course, One of the biggest challenges I faced in this subject was (working in groups), and many reasons made this matter almost a challenge for me, the most important reason was my (inability to communicate with others) in the group and also new ideas that may not agree with the ideas presented from others, and the habit I have encountered all my life in working alone in homework's, research papers, etc.
Among the reasons, from my point of view, is also the difficulty in communicating with others due to the lack of time and the busyness of others in other matters, and finally, the challenge that we students face, which is (online class), which makes it difficult for us as students to work in virtual groups because working in groups needs time and place to gather as a group and discuss the thing that we have to do.

I can proudly say that was the only challenge that I faced in this subject, But growing up in a society that speaks Arabic as the first language and getting my education in (public schools) that doesn't give the English language the right amount of focusing and time to teach the students about the important stuff, they just focused on teaching us about the basics about the language without going into it deeply, in my opinion, I consider the English language one of the most useful way to communicate with foreigners from different countries because English is the most spoken languages in the world and that's a scientific fact.
So, I taught myself how to be fluent in this language and how I can communicate with others using a language that considers not my native language, the problem that I faced was I learned English, not in a professional way for this reason I learned English through movies, songs, friends, the internet, etc.…
One of the most challenges that I faced was (spelling) because, as I mentioned earlier, I learned English by myself without the help of a professional, for this reason, I had difficulty with Spelling and the ability to assemble the correct letters to form words, the funny part is that I know how to pronounce the word and I can also know the letters in which word, but sometimes there are Compound letters that pronounce in a certain way, so that's the biggest challenge that I faced in general not just in this course.
Finally, the lessons that I learned from this challenge and this life experience is that it was my duty as a student to give (working in groups) the opportunity it deserved and also to overcome working alone, and get used to the fact that working in groups will help me in the future and helps my career by listening to different ideas from other people.
Finally, this course taught me that there's nothing called  "it's hard I can't do it" because this course helped me a lot to achieve and to improve my spelling skills and even my grammar skills, so nothing is impossible and you need to face your challenges by improving them and learning new stuff about them and getting better in what your passionate about and finally getting out from your comfort zone.
